What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure. It is simple, safe, effective, and an inexpensive therapeutic technique. Here, microneedles simulate an injury to the skin and thus stimulate the ability to heal itself. The self-healing process corrects existing skin damage, promotes a healthy complexion and the treatment also improves the absorption of active ingredients.
How does microneedling work?
A module, which is fitted with needles, is moved over the skin using an electrical dermapen using various techniques. The needles penetrate the skin and easily injure it, causing irritation to the cells, which stimulates this flushing. The regeneration of the skin is promoted and the renewal of the cells is initiated. A new formation of collagen and the formation of the body’s own hyaluron takes place.
This process is responsible for the skin chain, fine pores and firmness. If there is acne in the evening, for example, these substances fall on the surface of the scar. The scars get smaller and that means better. It takes some time until the full effect of the microneedling is visible.
The more severe the scarring / skin damage, the longer it takes for results to become visible and the more often it is necessary to repeat the treatment. A course of three treatments is recommended.
